What's Next?

Friends, here is where I hope for the stars to align, for lightening to strike. This is the moment where the energy spent to craft this website aligns with the needs of my community. Those of you reading this may have ideas on projects that could benefit from low cost photography services. If you feel moved to, even a little, please reach out to me to chat more about your ideas!  My contact information is listed on the About page.

Below I’ve listed some of the causes I'm drawn to:

1. Motherhood - Any and all aspects of motherhood - new or not-so-new motherhood - maternity photos for those who can't afford them (with a special place in my heart for women who bravely chose life after struggling with the decision), newborn photos, single mom & kid(s) family portraits.  I also love to use photos to help organizations working to support mothers who need extra assistance.

2. Homeless & Hungry - portraits of those who are in this vulnerable place in our world.  Maybe used to get a head-shot and confidence boost for a job interview, or to simply remember their human dignity and not feel forgotten by the world around them. If you want to highlight success stories of a program geared toward getting people on their feet. Generally, if you are an agency or organizations who works this population who could benefit from affordable photography, I'd be interested in partnering with you.

3. Addiction & Mental Illness - specifically, photography to be used for programs and organizations that focus on supporting those who need help in recovery.  I have always walked along side those struggling with mental illness and, as an adult, I have certainly had a front-row seat to addiction. I feel called to help change the narrative about some of the aspects of it and to share the unexpected joys that I've encountered in the journey.

4. Disadvantaged Children - photos for publications or social media which could help further the reach of those organizations who work toward helping them. As I describe in the In Real Life program mentioned in Project 2, anything that helps provide a safe, healthy and fun environment for children who may not be able to count on one anywhere in their world, count me in.
